Iron Songwriter Competition Round 1 Results

Congratulations to the winner of our first preliminary round, Boo Detch!

Her performance garnered enough votes to win first place in the September preliminary round.  She and her fellow performers got the suggestion of "asparagus" from the audience.  All of them were able to complete the task of writing a brand new song based on that topic, and they all did an excellent job.  Boo, however, won the hearts and the votes of the audience.  She won the $50 first prize and the opportunity to compete in the championship round on December 17th!
To learn more about Boo Detch and her music, please visit her official website.

Want to join Boo in the championship round?  You can!  We still have openings for the October preliminary round.

September Trivia Contest Winner

September's question:
Which cast member is most likely to say "Roll Tide" during the upcoming football season?

Congratulations to Melissa W., who was the first (of many) to correctly name Karen Hicks, our resident Bama alum.  Melissa won two free passes, good for any of our upcoming shows!
