 At 8pm on Saturday October 1st, your votes will decide whether the Nashville Comedy Theater ensemble or its arch-rival improv troupe Tongue N Cheek goes home with the coveted trophy as we battle head-to-head in an improv grudge match. 2 entire hours filled with games will leave you wanting more. Come out and support your favorite team. (Especially if that team is us.)  Iron Songwriter Competition Round 1 Results Congratulations to the winner of our first preliminary round, Boo Detch! Her performance garnered enough votes to win first place in the September preliminary round. She and her fellow performers got the suggestion of "asparagus" from the audience. All of them were able to complete the task of writing a brand new song based on that topic, and they all did an excellent job. Boo, however, won the hearts and the votes of the audience. She won the $50 first prize and the opportunity to compete in the championship round on December 17th! To learn more about Boo Detch and her music, please visit her official website. Webmaster beat Portal 2, caught up on every show on the DVR, brainstormed new improv shows, and took a nap... Oh, And, of course NCT wants to announce several exciting things. So its catch up time!
