Wanna go back in time with the cast of the Nashville Improv Company? Back to a time when hair was big, movies were John Hughes, turtles became ninjas, Super Mario was the new kid on the block and Huey Lewis brought you the News? Back to the 1980’s! Well the cast is opening up a time portal at the Bongo Java Theatre from 7-8:30 with plans to relive all the best parts of an amazing decade. This night will be filled with enough tubular laughs, bodacious jokes and radical PHYSICAL improv to generate 1.21 jiga-watts!

This is also Adrienne's final show before she moves to the snowy north, lets send her off in style!

Grand Old Improv & Incident 2 at 9pm!
Join us as Nashville Improv Company combines it's talents with one of Nashville's most ingrained traditions! GRAND OLE IMPROV brings in a talented songwriter who brings their songs to the stage, and then the cast performs comedic scenes inspired by those songs. It's a great showcase of comedy and music!

Incident 2
Ever filled up the gas tank right before the car breaks down? Ever taken an early lunch before the office orders pizza? Ever wished someone a happy Friday only to find out that it's Thursday? Sure, life has a sick sense of humor but that's what makes it beautiful. Incident 2 is a 45 minute, fully improvised two-man show that draws inspiration from this beautifully twisted world. Come to the Bongo Java theatre at 9PM to hear a story that has never been told before and will never be told again.

Open Auditions Sunday October 4th!
Think you've got what it takes to get on stage and entertain people...without a script? The Nashville Improv Company will be holding their next round of auditions on Sunday October 4th 2015, and are looking for both musicians and improvisers! 

As Nashville’s own professional improv company, our goal is to bring the best of improv comedy & theater to audiences everywhere. In the past year alone there have been over 40 regular performances, dozens of corporate gigs, over 300 students attending our training center, and many opportunities to travel across the country and perform improv at some of the biggest festivals in the US. There is always room and something happening at Nashville Improv.

The NIC is one of the fastest growing groups in the South, and they are looking for more talented performers. Do you walk and talk "yes, AND"? Have you DVRed every episode of the new season of Whose Line? Are you inspired by the improv greats and love everything pop culture? Then sign up to audition today.

Auditioners must be at least 21 years old, able to commit to weekly rehearsals, and must have prior Improv experience, but any style is accepted. 
A positive attitude and the ability to take criticism is required.

Audition dates are by appointment only, on Sunday October 4th from 2:30-3:45pm and Sunday October 4th 4:00-5:15pm with evening callbacks on Monday October 5th.
