Lacie was drawn to Nashville by the promise of bright lights and stages full of songwriters, while still only being a 20 minute drive to any part of town. She spends her days at Vanderbilt and assisting nurses. Her nights are spent cooking, visiting casinos, and at various trivia nights around town utilizing her homeschooled education to identify pre and post victorian clothing, civil war facts and music from the 1970’s. Improvising regularly since 2008, you will find her running the business side of things, plotting themes & games for shows, sharing the magic of improv with students and her second favorite part of improv, answering the phone.
Jim Seward
Jim is a former Military personnel where he visited sites in Turkey and learned to Scuba dive. Now he is a fulltime touring comedian and you can see him at clubs and casinos across the United States. In his spare time he loves spending time with his wife, cooking the tastiest home made jams and hot sauces you could wish for and caving.
Jarvis Bynum
You've seen Jarvis Bynum lighting up stages all over Tennessee. Graduate of Austin Peay University he is actively persuing his goal of a fulltime actor. Medical care giver by day, actor, performer and singer with a heart of gold by night. Ask him his favorite song he's listening to on Spotify right now and you won't be disappointed. FBGM
Meredith Weakley
Lover of the Nashville Sounds Meredith was thrilled to move to East Nashville with her husband in May. A Pharmacist by day she looks forward to performing improv where she can be both fun, and smart at the same time. Favorite TV shows include Law and Order SVU, Dateline, Unsolved Mysteries. Look for a specially themed show inspired by True Crime soon...
Grafton Thurman
Grafton Thurman is an actor, educator, and improviser. While he's not 100% who's currently in charge of his own local government, he'll argue with you about fictional space politics all day. Born and raised in Nashville, Graff has somehow managed to avoid having too much of a Southern twang but loves learning new dialects. He hopes you enjoy the show and come back again!
Andrew Glasscock
Andrew is a Tennessee native, raised in parts of Chattanooga that still require directions like "turn off the paved road over the holler" to find. Before the age of two, he figured out that his funny voices and enthusiastic, semi-coherent ramblings made people laugh. His comedic style stayed more or less the same until he tried his hand at improv in 2008. One particular night, in the middle of a sweaty, sold-out university black box theater, he knew he was exactly where he belonged. Andrew is a Middle Tennessee State University alumni, and maintains his "responsible adult" disguise by making digital magic happen at hotels worldwide. He lives under the Nashville airport with his college sweetheart and a pair of good-for-nothing kidneys.
Jonathan Stout
By day, he's a coffee fueled music marketer with a penchant for design. By night he's planning his next adventure to explore the unknown and put smiles on peoples faces. Writing a biography isn't his superpower but he does like playing guitar, mountain biking, and long walks on the beach if it's a mid to late summer afternoon, the weather is temperate, and he happens to be at the beach.
Hannah Prill
Originally from Michigan Hannah packed up her dog sled and moved to Tennessee in 2012. Recently graduated from Cumberland Universities Nursing Program, Hannah spends her days treating people with medicine if laughter doesn’t work. She enjoys spending her nights hanging at the nearest winery with friends, watching food network and quoting movies no one has ever seen. She is honored to be part of the Improv group, where she can be in her natural awkward habitat.
Amanda Tucker
Amanda has been improvising in Tennessee for more years than you can count. A staple at Renaissance Fairs, M'Prov, and conventions like MTAC and GMX she loves gaming, nerd stuff and fancy cool glasses.
Kaitlin Ladd
Kaitlin was born and raised in Tennessee and grew up in a small town in the country. She has always been drawn to the big city and after graduating from Bethel University she moved right outside of Nashville in hopes to find more opportunities to perform on stage. She never imagined she would end up on the Improv stage and absolutely love it! When Kaitlin’s not performing for Nashville Improv, you can find her performing in musicals around town, brunching it up with her friends on the weekends, or enjoying a Robin Williams movie. She can’t wait to see you all at the next show. Be sure to say Hi!
Christa Cruikshank
Christa Cruikshank was born in the latter part of the 20th century in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her family was whisked away shortly after and she eventually grew up in different parts of North Carolina. Christa is an engineer by training and for pay; but she is also an artist and improviser by grace, if not for pay.
Christa has written songs for Children’s theatre and plays and short stories for competition. She has published several essays in regional publications, including her commentary on business casual clothing definitions (Sling-backs and Arrows of Discontent). Her comedy influences are varied (George Carlin, Carol Burnett, Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Douglas Adams), but center on strong women from Sophie Tucker to Gilda Radnor to Tina Fey and Kate McKinnon.
Christa is very proud to be part of the Nashville Improv and so happy she replied yes...and.
